A VPN client is the program that uses your subscription. Incy, Happ and Hiddify serve a similar purpose, but their options vary by operating system and release. Compare them by the task you need rather than an unsupported speed ranking.
A client is different from a VPN service
OutSpeed VPN supplies the subscription and settings; the client establishes the device connection. Changing the app does not itself change plan limits, server access or traffic allowance.
Begin with profile compatibility. Protocol support is only part of it: transport, security parameters and core version also matter. A working account instruction is more useful than a generic protocol list.
Compare by your actual task
Do not assume that Android features work identically on iPhone or TV. Check the current release on your platform, with import and routing taking priority over interface appearance.
| Task | What to check |
|---|---|
| First connection | A supported account instruction and successful subscription import. |
| Banking apps outside the VPN | App selection on your OS; our Happ and Hiddify guides cover Android. |
| Desktop apps | A supported VPN/TUN mode and the necessary privileges. |
| TV | A dedicated release for the TV operating system and a supported import method. |
| Release stability | The current release stage; desktop Incy is marked pre-alpha. |
When to try Incy
Use the dedicated Incy guide to test a compatible OutSpeed VPN profile. Check the server list, connection and the services you need. Official downloads are linked in the client section below.
On desktop, take its release stage into account. Preserve a working setup until you have checked browsing, calls, the relevant app and return from sleep.
When Happ or Hiddify may already fit
For keeping a banking or delivery app outside the VPN on Android, start with the Bypass guide for your installed client. One exclusion can be easier to manage than moving every setting to another app.
On desktop, check system proxy versus VPN mode first. Some software ignores system proxy settings. That alone does not mean your subscription is incompatible or that you need another service.
Compare clients on your own subscription
- Choose the same network and an OutSpeed VPN server available to both clients.
- Import through supported instructions and leave one client active at a time.
- Test the same sites, a call and your everyday app.
- Record interruptions, errors and behaviour after screen lock or sleep.
- Repeat on another network while preserving other conditions.
Time of day, background downloads and route differences can change a measurement. A single speed test is not enough to declare one client universally fastest.
Common questions
Which client is fastest?
There is no universal result. Server, network, transport, device and load matter. Compare the same task on the same route.
Can I install all three?
Yes, but keep one active while testing and consider subscription device rules when adding a device.
