Get your client and subscription link

Open OutSpeed VPN, check the subscription status and choose instructions for your operating system. Download the recommended app from the provided link. ARM and x64 computers may require different installers.

Your account provides access details and the available server list; the installed client uses them on your computer. A working profile on another device is a useful comparison when checking desktop settings.

Install for your operating system

Finish installation before importing. Avoid modified packages containing unknown preloaded servers. If a build does not support your architecture or OS version, choose a compatible release instead of bypassing system checks.

Import OutSpeed VPN

1. Copy the personal subscription link from your desktop connection instructions.
2. Add a profile from the clipboard or URL, or use the automatic open-app button when available.
3. Check that the profile and server list appear.
4. Choose a working server and connect.
5. Test your browser and the specific desktop app separately.

If import fails, check ordinary internet access and compare the URL with your account. Repeatedly importing the same URL can create confusing duplicate profiles. Identify a working profile before removing duplicates.

System proxy versus VPN mode

A system proxy tells compatible apps where to send requests. Some software respects that setting; other programs use their own network configuration. A working browser does not prove that every app uses the same route.

VPN mode, also called TUN, creates a virtual network interface and can route traffic more broadly according to the client's rules. Current Hiddify calls the service mode VPN and requires elevated privileges for it. Follow the installed client's official instructions.

Select one mode, reconnect and retest the same app. If it only works in VPN mode, you have found a useful difference. Running a second VPN client at the same time makes this comparison harder.

Verify the actual connection

• Compare the same website with the VPN on and off.
• Test the target app separately from your browser.
• With split routing, run an IP check on a site that actually enters the tunnel.
• Try a second subscription server if the first has interruptions.
• Stop competing downloads when comparing performance.

A browser VPN extension does not replace a system client for other programs. On a work computer, your organisation may manage routes and proxies; follow its network rules.

If internet access fails after disconnecting

Disconnect normally and review the system proxy settings. A client crash can leave a local proxy address pointing to a process that is no longer running. Only undo the setting added by your VPN client: an organisation's proxy may be required for access.
