You generally do not need to type server parameters into iPhone settings to use an OutSpeed VPN subscription. A compatible app imports the profile by URL. Here is how to install it, connect and diagnose a profile that imports but cannot reach the service you need.
Choose an iPhone VPN app
Use the iOS instructions in your OutSpeed VPN account. Incy, Happ and Hiddify are examples of clients for compatible profiles, but app availability depends on your store region and system requirements.
Open the store from your account or the developer's site. Check the publisher and required iOS version rather than relying on a similar product name.
Get the subscription URL
Find the link in the connection instructions for your active OutSpeed VPN subscription. Check device allowance and that you signed into the expected account.
Copy the full subscription URL, not the account sign-in page. If an automatic import fails inside a messenger's browser, open the account page in Safari and try again.
Connect step by step
- Install the instructed client and return to your OutSpeed VPN connection page.
- Use the open-app import button when available, or add a profile by URL or clipboard in the client.
- Check that the profile and servers appear, then select an available server.
- Connect and confirm the system request to add that client's VPN configuration.
- Wait for the connected status and test a website plus a separate app.
The system permission lets the client create a tunnel. It does not buy a subscription. If the request is missing or the profile will not start, record the app message and check the instructions for that release.
Test both networks and the actual app
Try the same server on Wi-Fi and then mobile data. Record which network works and your provider, without changing the app and profile parameters at the same time.
With routing exceptions, an IP lookup in Safari describes its route to that destination only. Compare the affected app directly. Android app-selection instructions do not transfer literally to ordinary iOS clients.
If the VPN does not work on iPhone
- No access without VPN: check basic internet and any public Wi-Fi sign-in page.
- No servers: refresh and compare the subscription URL with your account.
- Stuck connecting: try another current profile server.
- Failure after a network switch: reconnect and retest.
- Only some sites fail: check routing and the service itself.
Do not remove every VPN profile indiscriminately: some may belong to your workplace. Send OutSpeed VPN your model, iOS release, client and exact error, hiding personal subscription details in screenshots.
Common questions
Does this also cover iPad?
The overall sequence is the same. Check that the client supports your iPadOS version.
Should I enter VLESS in standard iOS settings?
Use a compatible client from OutSpeed VPN instructions. A system VPN menu does not support every protocol by itself.
Can I select one app as on Android?
Regular iOS client features differ. Check supported website and routing rules in your installed release.
Choose your connection app
Install a compatible client, then add your OutSpeed VPN subscription using the account instructions.
